Much like other chemical peels, a Jessner peel works by breaking down the outermost layer of the skin, causing the old skin cells to shed. The Jessner solution, when used alone, induces mild superficial skin peeling. It is made up of 8% Citric Acid, 17% Salicylic Acid, 17% Lactic Acid in Ethanol and acts as a preparatory step, removing the upper layers of the epidermis to facilitate deeper penetration of your prescribed Skin routine.
Jessner Peels can effectively address various skin concerns, including:
