Lower Facial Sculpting
If you are concerned about sagging jowls or bulky neck fat, Dr. Holman can provide a personalized non-surgical procedure with Agnes Radio Frequency to help you achieve the desired contour of your face. This treatment offers a great way to melt unwanted fat and tighten the skin in trouble zones without requiring surgery. Comprehensive lower facial sculpting tightens sagging skin, re-volumizes and augments areas to improve tone, texture, and brightness. It’s a non-surgical mix of treatments that maintains a youthful lower face.
Agnes Radio frequency skin tightening and targeted facial slimming is the hero treatment for lower facial sculpting. If necessary, this procedure is complemented by DoubleTite treatments, anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and maybe a thread lift. As ageing is multifaceted, personalised combination therapy is the most suitable approach.
The procedure that doesn’t wear off
Agnes Radio frequency skin tightening offers a natural outcome that won’t wear off like other treatments, even though the ageing process continues. It’s a doctor-only procedure an area of special interest performed personally by Dr Holman.
Often cosmetic doctors opt for easier solutions such as a HIFU device and employ a nurse to operate it. The problem is, it’s not a targeted solution. With Agnes Radio Frequency, Dr Holman chooses areas in the lower face for debulking or skin tightening to truly sculpt the face –rather than initiating mild tightening all-over which can cause fat and volume loss. Agnes Radio Frequency skin tightening prevents this skeletonising effect.
Agnes Radio Frequency achieves an excellent result and when combined with DoubleTite, the 2 in 1 state of the art skin rejuvenation device, exclusive to MH Clinics, by reducing visible signs of ageing in the lower face & neck area. Typically you will only need 1 or 2 treatments to see long-term visible results.
Sometimes a blend of complementary treatments to lower facial sculpting techniques can also enhance the overall look.
Complimentary treatments, with instant results
Anti-wrinkles injections define the jawline and reduce the downward pull of the neck muscles on the tissue of the lower face. This foundation treatment usually occurs before the radiofrequency and wears off as the tightening comes into effect. If repeated, the injections are a once or twice-a-year procedure.
For targeted volumisation around the cheeks, nose base and jawline, dermal fillers can be used after the anti-wrinkle injections and Agnes Radio Frequency skin tightening procedures. As the effect of the radiofrequency starts to show (once the swelling has subsided), dermal fillers can further augment your lower face with targeted voluminisation. The nose base filler in particular is an advanced technique used by Dr Holman, not commonly available elsewhere.
Saggy jowls and nasolabial folds are common issues in lower face ageing skin. Thread lifts can be introduced into the treatments to provide an immediate boost that lasts six to 12 months. Both a standalone and complementary procedure, Dr Holman often uses thread lifts as an augment to radiofrequency skin tightening. It instantly suspends the skin up, giving you a confidence lift while the radiofrequency tightening comes into effect.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s a combination of treatments, rather than one procedure. This is a philosophy aimed at improving the appearance of the lower face, jawline definition, sagging jowls and bulky neck fat. This solution encompasses different areas of treatment, which are tailored to the patient
While there are various modalities, the main procedure for lower facial sculpting is radio frequency skin tightening and fat reduction. Anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers are also targeted treatments.
Dr Holman takes a holistic approach to lower facial sculpting, first identifying the cause of the problem and understanding a patient’s needs. With a breadth of skills, he has the ability to utilise the correct techniques that treat these concerns. Dr Holman deals with all aspects of lower facial sculpting for positive results.
Antiwrinkle injections are a quick 10-15 minute procedure, whereas radio frequency skin tightening can take up to two hours. Lower facial sculpting can’t simply be treated with dermal fillers. Radio frequency enables Dr Holman to also tighten and debulk the fat
There’s a small needle prick with the anti-wrinkle injections, but it’s not painful. With radio frequency skin tightening, itmight be a little stingy but again, it won’t hurt. There will be some bruising, tenderness and swelling post-treatment. This will subside within a week or two.
You’ll enjoy visible results from dermal fillers immediately and antiwrinkle injections within a month. However, with radio frequency skin tightening, it requires time for the effects to show. Expect to see changes within three months, with progressive improvements over time. In 18 months, the results will be optimal. The reason it takes time is the procedure is about tightening and rejuvenating the skin and this does not occur instantaneously. Collagen production is increased and fibroblasts are activated for healthy skin growth producing overall optimal results.
While the surgical route offers a more dramatic effect, a facelift is an expensive, risky procedure. It can cost upwards of $30,000. The procedure is around eight hours and there’s significant downtime, of around a month. Radio frequency skin tighteningis advantageous because it’s a natural procedure.
You don’t need to worry about a swept-back unnatural look, however the results do take time to show.
Radio frequency can be repeated but because it doesn’t wear off, one treatment is sufficient in most cases. Some patients can opt for a second round if under chin fat is severe. Expect to enjoy the results for many years to come. Anti-wrinkle injections need to be repeated every three to four months. Fillers require a follow-up every six to 12 months. With all lower facial sculpting treatments, cosmeceuticals are the appropriate ongoing skin care
